Barrie teenager Diana Smendra is in the final lead-up to a different kind of pageant; one that focuses less on beauty and grace, more on skills and self-development. She will represent Georgian Bay in the Miss North Ontario competition in May. She took time out of what we learned is a busy schedule in the final weeks before the competition to outline how she became involved in it, what she is doing in hopes of winning and what the future holds…
