Barrie Police Officer’s Nose Knows
Telltale scent picked up during traffic stop
Some drug charges laid in Barrie, after a traffic stop. It happened around 5:00 this morning, police pulled a vehicle over and claimed to smell the telltale odour of marijuana when approaching the vehicle. Officers say a search of the vehicle turned up a “significant quantity” of marijuana, along with some ecstasy pills. A 37-year-old Waynefield man is up on charges.
