UPDATE: Barrie Police Investigate Second Weekend Stabbing

No evidence of foul play

FRIDAY – Barrie Police say they have exhausted all leads in the stabbing of a 20 year Keswick man last weekend. They have nothing to indicate foul play and now believe the stabbing was accidental. The man was found at the Travelodge on Bayfield Street and transported to hospital in Toronto.

MONDAY – Barrie Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed early Sunday at the Travelodge on Bayfield Street – it is not clear where he was attacked. The man, in his 20s, is not from Barrie. He was taken to hospital in Toronto in critical but stable condition. Another man was stabbed in the leg during a south end house party on Saturday night. A 26 year old man has been charged.
