Barrie Police Finish What Concerned Citizens Started
Man Taken Into Custody Following Citizen's Arrest
An elderly man suffered minor injury in north end Barrie, but it could’ve been worse. Barrie Police got the call to an apartment building in the Bayfield and Grove area where a few people were holding down a suspect. Witnesses say the guy made an unprovoked attack against a 70-year-old man, and would have continued if not for the citizens who stepped in. A 21-year-old man has been charged.
