Barrie Police Arrest One In Connection to Canada-Wide Crime Spree

Second Suspect Still On The Lamb

Barrie Police showed some alleged bad guys they came to the wrong town. Police got the head’s up from law enforcers in Edmonton that some suspects were staying in town. The group were allegedly behind a crime spree that started in British Columbia, through Alberta and into Ontario, stopping in Barrie for a rest. Police went to the Hart Dr. motel on Sunday, confirming two of the three were staying there. One of the two suspects fled, while the other suspect came quietly. A 23-year-old woman faces a slew of Fraud and Theft-related charges, while police are on the hunt for the 28-year-old man who booted it from the motel. Officers believe there is no threat to public safety.
