Barrie Pair Accused Of Vehicle B&Es While Drunk

Both Facing Court Ordered Curfew And Sobriety

A pair of drinking buddies are up on charges after a spate of vehicle break ins. Just after 5:00 Tuesday morning, Barrie Police were contacted over concerns of two men breaking into vehicles along Daphne Crescent. Officers came across the duo in question and claim not only were the pair drunk, they were also in possession of several items stolen from unlocked vehicles nearby. The two 19-year-old men were charged with Theft, Possession of Stolen Property, and Trespassing. Both were released with conditions including a curfew, and a ban from drinking.
