Barrie B&E Suspect Left A Trail For Police To Follow

Perp Injured Themselves On The Way Out of the Crime Scene

Barrie Police say a B&E perp left a trail behind. They say someone broke into the Canadian Drug Mart on Wellington St. around 8:00 this morning, and went right for a locked cabinet filled with narcotics. In a rush to flee the store, it looks like the suspect cut themselves on the broken window they used to get in, and left a trail of blood and pill bottles. Enough so, that police were able to get plenty of DNA to track down the suspect. That, along with video surveillance, police figure they’ll be making an arrest soon. They are asking that anyone with info to give them a call.
