Angus Man Charged Following Fatal November Crash

Base Borden Soldier Killed In Collision

An Angus man has been charged following a collision that claimed the life of a Base Borden soldier. The crash happened at the intersection of Centre St. and 5th Line in Angus, around 3:30 on the afternoon of November 27th. Police say a pick up truck ran a stop sign, striking an SUV and driving it into a ditch. The driver of the SUV, 45-year-old Master Corporal David Anderson of CFB Borden, was pronounced dead on scene. Today OPP arrested and charged a 26-year-old man with Dangerous Driving Causing Death.
