Let’s be honest. There’s a lot of negativity in the world and so when a story like this surfaces, it just makes your day.
In Orillia, a 6-year-old boy was building a snowman and was struggling to lift a boulder of snow. A police officer was cruising by and noticed the boy needed help so he pulled over and helped him lift the boulder and finish the rest of his snowman! He was asking the boy what he wanted for Christmas and if he was a good boy this year. Meanwhile, the boy’s mother was watching the whole exchange from inside through the window. She took photos of the officer helping her son, posted them on Facebook and the post went viral. There was just an outpouring of positive comments.
We shared it and told the story on Rock 95 last night when we received a private message asking us to read this amazing story. Kudos to officer Marcus Lee!
