Alectra Assisting With Hurricane Restoration
Thirty-Two Employees Heading To Georgia
Hurricane cleanup with a local connection: Barrie’s newly formed power utility, Alectra, has sent 32 of its employees to assist with the restoration of power to residents of Georgia, following extensive damage left by Hurricane Irma. More than 20 bucket trucks and support vehicles left for Atlanta this morning to help the over 650,000 customers there without power.
