Alcona Students Get ‘Tools’ To Help Them Cope With Mental Health Issues

Third year for day-long workshops

Students at a school in Alcona got a leg-up this week on working through mental health issues. Goodefllow Public School held a Build A Better Me day Thursday. Megan Duff organized it. Grade 6 to 8 students took part in several workshops where they focussed on coping with stress, explored community organizations that can help in times of need and developed prevention and self-advocacy skills.
