Agreement Between Oro Medonte And Orillia Library Takes Effect in March

Partnership means Oro Medonte residents Can Make Use of Orillia Library Services For Free

It’s a little easier for Oro Medonte residents to tear into a good book, thanks to a new agreement with Orillia. The Township of Oro Medonte has paired up with the Orillia Public Library to offer Oro residents access to services and programs at the library without having to pay user fees. This agreement has the municipality footing the bill on a $40 membership fee, instead of the $150 fee Oro Medonte residents used to have to pay to use Orillia Library services. Beginning March 1st, Oro Medonte residents can apply for an Orillia library card, so long as they’ve got proof of residence. Oro residents who have already paid their annual fee will get a prorated refund.
