Police Hoping To ID Woman They Say Walked Out With Hundreds in Groceries

thisdelle_shopliftBarrie Police say a woman walked out of a grocery store late last week, with a cart full of $700 in goods. Staff at the Loblaws on Bayfield St. say they spied a woman load up her cart with some choice cuts of meat, along with some other items, then boot it from the store. They tried to stop her in the parking lot, but claim the woman fled in a black SUV/crossover type vehicle, with a driver believed to be female. Police need help in identifying the suspect, the secret shopper is described as:

  • female
  • white
  • approx 50-60 years of age
  • long, dirty blonde hair
  • wearing black coat with fur-lined hood, grey scarf, jeans.
