A Forced Walk Around Alcona For a Young Boy

Police Say Suspect Threatened Boy's Family

A scary time for one Alcona youth. South Simcoe Police say a man approached the boy and threatened to kill his family if the child didn’t go with him. Investigators say the pair walked around Alcona for several hours, as the boy was too afraid to run away. They say the suspect even used the boy’s debit card to buy cigarettes. Once the boy was able to get away and call the cops, a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with Threatening Death, Intimidation, and Theft. The boy wasn’t physically harmed.
