Rock 95 Birthday Bash Contest Rules and Regulations
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The following rules apply to Rock 95's Birthday Bash Contest. The Contest is sponsored by radio station Rock95 (sometimes referred to herein the "Sponsor"). By participating in this contest, listeners agree to be bound by these rules. These Contest Rules are in addition to the previously established, General Contest Rules of Rock95. All Contest Rules are available at: 431 Huronia Rd, Unit 10, Barrie, Ontario between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm from Monday to Friday, or on www.rock95.com. The Rock95 Birthday Bash Contest (the "Contest") commences on Friday, September 4th, 2026, and closes on Friday November 13th, 2026.
Alternatively, listeners may visit Rock 95 Birthday Bash Live on Location Events where at least one (1) person per event may win bash passes to attend the Rock 95 Birthday Bash on Friday, November 13th, 2026. The Rock 95 Birthday Bash Live on Location Events can occur anytime September 4th, 2026– November 12th, 2026. Listeners may fill out one (1) ballot per event to qualify to win Bash passes. A listener wins Bash passes when their ballot is selected randomly by representatives of Rock95 at the station, in the presence of station managers. The qualifying ballot will be drawn from a ballot box or ballot drum that was used at the Live on Location Event. The Qualifier's name will be announced on-air, and the qualifier will receive a phone call. Ballots may only be completed by each individual listener and not by friends, family or other associates of a listener.
Listeners will also be eligible to win Bash passes to the Rock 95 Birthday Bash through a scratch and win website widget on www.rock95.com (only listeners in the Rock95 broadcasting area and who meet the eligibility requirements will be allowed to participate in the Rock 95 Birthday Bash contest). If you can successfully scratch the widget and unlock a ballot, you'll be qualified and earn a spot into the draw to win a pair of Bash passes. A minimum of eleven lucky contestants will be awarded a pair of Bash passes. Winners will be drawn randomly every week during the contest period and contacted via the information they provided.
Listeners will also be able to win Bash passes to the Rock 95 Birthday Bash through contesting on our social media pages; Facebook at www.facebook.com/Rock95Barrie or TikTok www.tiktok.com/@rock95.7. Special instructions will be shared per contest opportunity. One lucky winner per social media contest will be randomly drawn from the pool of those who participated.
"For entry via social media: Without limiting the foregoing, if entry in a Contest occurs via one or several of the official social networking pages for the applicable Station, entry must occur during the applicable Contest entry period by means of the applicable third party service or site (each, a "Third Party Service"). To enter a Contest by means of a Third Party Service, you must have a valid account with the applicable Third Party Service and are solely responsible to ensure that your account settings allow the applicable Station to view your account as required to administer the applicable Contest (failing which, you may be disqualified).
By creating an account with a Third Party Service, you agree to comply with such Third Party Service's Terms of Service. By entering a Contest by means of a Third Party Service, entrants completely release any such Third Party Service of all liability in relation to his/her participation in the applicable Contest. Entrants acknowledge that the applicable Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with the Third Party Service(s) and that any questions, comments or complaints regarding any Contest should be directed to Central Ontario Broadcasting. and not to Third Party Service(s)."
Additional ways to win passes and gain entry into the Rock 95 Birthday Bash on November 13th, 2026, may become available throughout the contest period and will be promoted on air and listed under the “ways to win section of the Rock 95 Birthday Bash website https://rock95.com/birthday-bash/prizes/
Only 1 qualifier per household will be permitted to win. If it is discovered that more than one person in a household has qualified, Rock 95 reserves the right to disqualify all but one of the qualifiers.
2.ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to individual legal residents of Ontario who are at least nineteen (19) years of age and who reside in the broadcast range of Rock 95 (excluding internet streaming). The broadcast range of the station includes but is not limited to: Barrie, Innisfil, Township of Oro-Medonte, Midhurst, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Elmvale, Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny, New Lowell, New Tecumseth, Creemore, Sevren, Orillia, Muskoka, Newmarket, Alliston, Beeton, Keswick, Georgina and Bradford. Employees, immediate family members, advertisers, sponsors, or partners of Rock 95 and its owners or affiliates are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
In order to be eligible to win any prize, all Rock 95 Birthday Bash qualifiers must sign a Release at the designated ticket outlet before their proof of qualification is accepted, thereby agreeing to release the Sponsor, the parent and affiliated companies of Rock 95, the prize sponsors and prize underwriter, and all of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents (collectively, the "Releases") from all losses, damages, penalties, claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses and liability of any kind whatsoever, including any property damage, personal damages or death to the winner or third person arising out of, or in connection with participation in the Contest or with the use of any prizes awarded in connection with the Contest, regardless of any negligence on the part of any of the Releases and agreeing to indemnify and hold harmless each of the Releases from any liability of any nature whatsoever arising out of the winners' use of any prize. The Release will also confirm that Qualifiers agree to comply with Rules and Regulations governing the Contest.
Before being declared a winner of the Grand Prize, and in order to be eligible to win any Prize, all potential winners must first correctly answer, without mechanical aid or assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by the Sponsor.
Listeners can only win one (1) pair of passes to attend the Rock 95 Birthday Bash. If it is later determined that an entrant has willingly or unwillingly violated this rule, they will be disqualified from attending the event and winning any prizes. No alternate Qualifier will be chosen.
Additional prizes are not convertible into cash or other substitutes, except at the sole discretion of Sponsors. Prizes are non-transferable unless specified and may differ from what's outlined below.

The Sponsor will qualify no more than 600 listeners and no less than 500 listeners for the Rock 95 Birthday Bash "Contest". All qualifiers and one guest will be invited to the Rock 95 Birthday Bash on Friday, November 13th, 2026, at 7:00pm at the Sadlon Arena. To be eligible to win a prize during the Birthday Bash, the qualifier must be present. The Sponsor is not responsible for any Qualifiers’ inability to attend the Rock 95 Birthday Bash for any reason whatsoever, or for any qualifier who is ejected during the event. The Qualifier's passes have no cash value and are not transferable.
All Qualifiers are responsible for being available on November 13th, 2026, between the hours of 7:00pm and 12:30am. All Qualifiers must drop their “ballot” into the Drum upon arrival at the Rock 95 Birthday Bash to be eligible to win prizes. The prizes will be awarded throughout the night on November 13th, 2026, by random draw.
(a) The Sponsor reserves the right to qualify listeners at its own discretion.
(b) The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate and/or modify the Contest if it is determined that it is not capable of completion as planned due to tampering, technical failures, or any other cause.
(c) The Sponsor is not responsible for a winner's inability or failure to acquire any aspect of their Prize. All prize winners shall have no recourse against the Sponsor in the event the prize sponsor fails to award the prize to the winner. Should the winner decide that they do not wish to claim any element of the Prize, then said Prize winner will have no other recourse, and the prize cannot be redeemed for cash value.
(d) The Sponsor is not responsible for a listener's inability to reach the stations due to service interruption, technical problems, the failure of telephone or electronic equipment, poor/slow internet connection, or the inability of a listener to contact the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever. Decisions of the Sponsor are final and cannot be challenged.
(e) All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. By entering the Contest, each listener agrees to the use of his/her name, address and/or photograph or other likeness, as well as his/her appearance at publicity events including but not limited to phone calls, radio, television or interviews conducted by members of the media during the contest period or at any time thereafter where there is publicity associated with the Contest, without any additional compensation and as required by the Sponsor. Winners further agree not to engage in any negative interviews or make any disparaging comments or statements about the Sponsor, its employees, associated companies or anyone affiliated in any way with this Contest.
(f) By entering this Contest, listeners consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of this Contest. The Sponsor will not sell, share, or otherwise disclose personal information of entrants to third parties, other than to third parties engaged by the Sponsor to fulfill the purposes of this Contest or as permitted or required by law.
(g) The Contest is governed by the laws of Canada and subject to applicable Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws and regulations. It is void where prohibited by law.
(h) Any attempt to deliberately damage any legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should any such attempt occur, the Sponsor may fully seek remedies and damages of the law.
(i) The Sponsor reserves the right to amend these rules at any time and to make the amendments effective retroactively. If after the Contest has begun, changes or updates are made, the changes will be announced on the day the changes are made. An addendum to these rules will be available in the lobby of the radio station at the location specified above.
(j) Winners will be solely responsible for all taxes, tile, licensing, documentation fees, duties and/or other costs and fees that may be associated with the winning of prizes. Winners will also be responsible for obtaining any insurance associated with winning a prize.
(k) The Sponsor may at any time and in their absolute discretion terminate, suspend, or amend the Contest in any way.
(l) In all matters related to this Contest, all decisions of the Sponsor, employees, associations, or anyone affiliated with this Contest are final and cannot be disputed unless otherwise decided by the Sponsor. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained. The interpretation of these and all other rules relating to the Contest is reserved exclusively to the Sponsor and its affiliates. The Sponsor's decisions are final.
(m) The Sponsor is not responsible for any listener's inability to participate in the Contest. Sponsors reserve the right to decide how, when, where, and why Qualifiers will be taken. Sponsors will not offer qualification to those who are unable to participate in the "Birthday Bash" Contest qualifying process.
(n) By entering the Contest, entrants acknowledge the non-responsibility of the Sponsor in respect of accidents, injuries, loss, or misfortune related to the conduct of the Contest, awarding of the prizes and use and enjoyment of the awarded prizes.
(o) All entrants agree to assist the Sponsor in the conduct of any investigation deemed necessary or appropriate to determine the legitimacy of the contestant's fair play. This includes, but is not limited to attending interviews and full disclosure of the relationship the contestant may have with the person identified as the winner of any prize; and
(p) No waiver of any aspect of these rules shall constitute a waiver of any other aspect, nor shall any waiver of any provision of these rules constitute a continuing waiver unless otherwise expressly provided by the Sponsors.
