House of Commons has approved gender neutral changes to O Canada

Senate yet to prove changing “ In all thy sons command” to “In all of us command”. Senators may not consider the change until the fall.
The Senate has sent the Assisted Death legislation back to MPs
They’ve proposed a major amendment suggesting more permissive parameters. As the legislation sits, only those who are near death would qualify for medical help to end their lives. There are indications the Liberal government will not accept the change, expecting the Senate to back down from its stance.
