Netflix’s first Marvel Superhero show stayed true to the comic’s roots, yet made the characters interesting and engaging, especially Kingpin. It takes a while to get going, but totally worth it. Season 2 is out sometime in 2016. While you’re waiting, check out Netflix’s second Marvel series, Jessica Jones.

2. Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

 

Who can make a story about a young girl imprisoned in an underground bunker by a cultist funny? Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. If you’re a fan of 30 Rock, this series is a must-see. The second season is currently being filmed.

3. Making a Murderer

 

It’s a Netflix original documentary series that follows the case of Steven Avery, who ends up being the prime suspect of a murder case after being released from an 18-year prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. Totally worth a watch.

4. Master of None

 

Aziz Ansari’s new Netflix show. If you’re a fan of The Mindy Project, chances are, you’ll be a fan of Master of None. He plays a 30-year-old actor who can’t figure out his career or relationships, while addressing social and cultural expectations very well. The show earned Aziz Ansari a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor In A Television Comedy Series.

5. House of Cards

 

It’s not a new show, but so totally worthy of being on this list. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright star in this amazing show about ambition, deceit and blackmail…so much blackmail. Get to bingeing because the 4th season premiers on Netflix, March 4th.
