Bolton Man Charged After Taking Golf Cart For A Tour
Alleged Smell Of Booze On His Breath Didn't Help Either
A man without a licence tried to take an alternate mode of transportation, but it didn’t go over very well. OPP say they spied a man driving a golf cart through Bolton on Sunday evening around 11:30, adding when the driver spotted police, he put the cart in reverse in an effort to evade police. Officers caught up to the man on foot and say they could smell booze on his breath. After running his name through the computer, police discovered he was under court order not to drive a vehicle. The golf cart qualifies as a vehicle, so now the 43-year-old man is facing appropriate charges.
