Prince Music Sales Skyrocket
Millions sold in three days following his death
Sales of Prince songs and albums have spiked since his death last week. There were more than 2.3 million song sales in the three days following his death led by Purple Rain, When Doves Cry and Little Red Corvette. Album sales were led by The Very Best Of Prince. A celebration of Prince’s life was held for family and close friends at the weekend following the singer’s cremation. It may be several weeks before we hear results of an autopsy conducted Friday.
