Police Take Youngster Into Custody Following Threat to Banting Memorial
April 11th – The Nottawasaga OPP say, after investigation that involved Banting Memorial High School staff, a youth has been charged with threatening the school. Police remind the public that all threats are taken seriously and significant resources are committed to every threat made.
April 3rd – A youngster is in hot water with the law after a social media threat was made. The Nottawasaga OPP detachment says this threat was made against Banting Memorial High School in Alliston this morning, while police add the youth involved was swiftly taken into custody and there is no threat to public safety. The investigation continues.
