They say home is where the heart is, and for thousands of people who have music in their hearts, they’re making their Way Home this weekend.
The Way Home Music and Arts Festival, one of the largest musical festivals of the year is underway this weekend at Burl’s Creek in Oro-Medonte.
Three days of music, art, camping and fun brings people from everywhere imaginable into our area for this festival weekend. While the festival has been controversial for neighbours of the festival grounds, it’s economic impact into our regional area is huge. The festival line-up includes Imagine Dragons, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, Rag ‘n Bone Man, and tons of other artists.
There’s also a full weekend of music in Collingwood this weekend for the annual Elvis Festival. Elvis impersonators of all shapes and sizes converge on the Town of Collingwood to compete for prizes and share the music and legacy of one of the world’s greatest entertainers.
