Watch Toto Premiere ‘Hash Pipe’ Cover During Show
Band Returning The Favour To Weezer
Earlier this week, Toto members Steve Porcaro and Steve Lukather announced that the band would be covering the Weezer hit, “Hash Pipe.” A camaraderie formed between the bands after Weezer’s cover of “Africa” became a chart-topping hit.
According to an interview with KROQ radio, Toto bandmembers debated which song to cover for a quite a while before vocalist Joseph Williams decided on “Hash Pipe.”
The official release date for the cover is August 10, but last night Toto performed the hit to at their show in Vancouver, British Columbia.
