Watch: Smashing Pumpkins Cover ‘Malibu’ & ‘Celebrity Skin’

Last night, Smashing Pumpkins performed in Holmdel, New Jersey for a special 30th anniversary concert.

Joined by the band, was a number of special guests including Courtney Love, The Killers‘ Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer, Deftones’ frontman Chino Moreno, Peter Hook of Joy Division and New Order, Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and AFI frontman Davey Havok.

Courtney Love entered the stage to announce frontman Corgan as a “Best friend, nemesis and lover.” Together they performed Hole tracks “Celebrity Skin” and “Malibu” – songs which were co-written by Corgan. She also performed Smashing Pumpkins’ “Bullet With Butterfly Wings”.
