Vehicle Fire Shuts Down Barrie Roadway

No injuries after a vehicle fire shut down Bayfield street in Barrie. Emergency crews were called in just before 9:00 this morning, after an SUV ignited, just south of Livingstone. Despite cruisers and flashing lights to deter them, at least one person was ticketed for driving into the closed off section of Bayfield too, now facing a $110 fine. No word on the cause of the fire, while Bayfield has since reopened.
