Three Hurt In Two Crashes

Police are looking for witnesses to two crashes late Tuesday afternoon. A 54 year old Barrie woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck at Dunlop and Maple Streets just before 5 o’clock. About the same time, on County Road 27 at the 13th Line of Bradford, a car and a SUV collided – one into the back end of the other. A 49 year old Alliston woman and a 25 year old man from Lindsay were taken to hospital. The man was eventually airlifted to a trauma facility in Toronto. In both cases, the roads were closed for several hours as police investigated.
