The Pretty Reckless Sets A Record

First four mainstream rock entries top the charts

This fall, The Pretty Reckless released their third studio album and in just a matter of weeks the debut single from the album, “Take Me Down” shot to the number one position on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts setting a record along the way.

The New York based band formed in 2009 and fronted by singer, rhythm guitar player and Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen becomes the first act in history to send their first four mainstream rock songs to the top of the charts.

The Pretty Reckless first topped the chart with “Heaven Knows” for five weeks in 2014. The group’s other two singles to reach the top were “Messed Up World” for four weeks in 2014 and “Follow Me Down” in 2015.

The band is touring the new album in the States and getting ready for a 2017 European tour starting in January.
