Winnie Mandela, Anti-Apartheid Pioneer and Wife to Late Nelson Mandela, Has Died
Winnie Mandela has died. The South African anti-apartheid campaigner and widow to Nelson Mandela has passed away at age 81, according to a family spokesperson. Known to many in South Africa as “The Mother of the Nation” was recently admitted to hospital with a kidney infection, after battling health issues for years. More information here.
