Suspect Nabbed At The Scene of The Crime

Police Say Bandit Cut His Hand While Breaking into Pharmacy

They say timing is everything. Barrie Police say they arrived to a Break and Enter call while the suspect was still in the store. It happened around 11:00 Sunday night at the Kempenfelt Pharmacy on Victoria Street, officers say they were able to quickly arrest a suspect at the store. Getting him to jail was a different story; they had to make a pit stop at RVH, as they say the 36-year-old suspect cut his hand in the way into the store. After getting patched up, he was taken downtown to be charged.
