Seattle’s Museum of Popular Culture is Getting a Pearl Jam Exhibit

It's about time!

There are a ton of amazing acts to  come out of Seattle, Washington including Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam. Well, the Museum of Popular Culture in Seattle is finally honouring one of their own by putting in a Pearl Jam exhibit. They’ve hosted many musical exhibits before including ones dedicated to Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana. It’s finally Pearl Jam’s turn.

The exhibit is called Pearl Jam: Home And Away opens on August 11th to coincide with two shows Pearl Jam is playing in the city. There will be a ton of Pearl Jam artifacts telling the full 28-year history of the band including instruments, equipment, original lyrics, notebooks, posters and album covers, set lists and stage props.

The Museum of Popular Culture is also getting a life-sized statue of Chris Cornell next month. That will be unveiled August 29th.
