OPP Call Wayhome Weekend A Success
Few calls for service, most of them minor
OPP say last weekend’s Wayhome Concerts at Burl’s Creek was a success from a policing point of view. Barrie Detachmanet Commander, Staff Sergeant Veronica Eaton, says there were 38 calls for service – many of them 911 pocket dials and minor collisions. There were a few medical assists. A man from Oakville was charged with Sexual Assault, another from Brampton was charged with Theft. The traffic plan, says Eaton, went off without a hitch.
