Local Officer Sat With Elderly Woman Until Family Arrived

Woman Found Wandering Downtown Late At Night Serves As a Reminder of Vulnerable Persons Registry

Hats off to South Simcoe Police Constable Adam McCourt. While he out and about patrolling downtown Bradford last night, Const. McCourt came across an elderly woman wandering around a parking lot, just before 11:00. The officer was able to get a name out of the confused disoriented woman, and track down her address. Const. McCourt then stayed with the woman at her home until relatives arrived. This is a good time to remind folks of the Vulnerable Persons Registry available for free, allowing you to give pertinent details to police, so they’ve got it in advance should it be needed to find a loved one.
