Child Killed In House Fire

OPP say a seven year old boy child was killed in a house fire late Thursday night near Stayner. Clearview firefighters were called, just before 9pm, to the home on Highway 26 between County Road 10 and Klondike Park Drive. Four occupants of the home were able to make it out. First responders and others at the scene were unable to save the boy who was trapped inside. Cause of the fire yet to be determined. The fire marshal and OPP are investigating.
