Charges Laid After Wounded Puppy Brought to Oro Medonte Shelter

Pup Now Up for Adoption

A Oro Medonte resident has been charged after a badly wounded dog was brought to the local animal shelter. The Rottweiler-type puppy was found November 14th, covered in burns and lying in the snow. He’s since been named Leonard by his caregivers, he’s recovering from his injuries, and the shelter has started taking adoption applications. A 37-year-old man has been charged with animal cruelty.
