Break and Enter Suspect Known To Family

Police Say Family Turned Suspect Away Several Times Before B&E

A Brampton man is up on charges, after an extended absence. Just after 10:00 yesterday morning, south Simcoe Police were called to a Canal Rd. home with reports of a break and enter in progress. Investigators say the suspect was known to the family, and had arrived on the doorstep a few days ago, after an absence of several years. He was sent away, but returned another time, and sent away again. The third time he came back, yesterday, police say he brought a crowbar and broke into a basement window. He was caught and held until police showed up, now a 25-year-old man is facing charges.
