Bombardier To Cut More Jobs

Manufacturer To Cut Additional 7,500 Jobs On Top Of Cuts Announced in February

Another large wave of job cuts are coming to Bombardier. The Montreal-based plane and train manufacturer says it will trim 7,500 jobs from its global operations by the end of 2018, with about 2,000 of those in Canada. In February, Bombardier announced plans to cut 7,000 jobs by the end of next year. High ups at the company hope this will help save $300 million a year in an effort to improve profitability.
