Blue Mountain Parent Company To Be Sold For Over a Billion Dollars

IntraWest Resorts Holdings To Be Bought for $1.5 Billion

The company that owns Blue Mountain Resort is to be sold for about $1.5 billion. Intrawest Resorts Holdings also owns Mont Tremblant in Quebec, and representatives of the company said today it has agreed to be taken over by Aspen Skiing Co. and a private equity firm. The deal has yet to be finalized, but is expected to be so at the end of the third quarter of this year.
