Baycats Try for Three-peat!

The Barrie Baycats open their 2016 Inter-County League Baseball Championship Series tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Coates Stadium in Springwater.

The Baycats are looking for their third consecutive IBL title and if they can win the championship again this year, terms like “dynasty” will be starting to be used to describe this team.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are coming off a hard-fought battle with the London Majors after advancing from their come-from-behind win in the seventh and deciding semi-final game.

The Baycats are rested after having several days off following their sweep of Kitchener in four straight games in their semi-final.

The battle for the three-peat begins tonight.  It should be a fun ride.  Game time 7:30 pm.  Here is the schedule for the Championship:
