Barefoot Bandit Sought After Alleged Boot Theft In North End Barrie

Barrie’s boys in blue are looking for a barefoot bandit. Police say a barefoot woman walked into an Addition-Elle store in a north Bayfield plaza around 7:00 Thursday night, and went right for a pair of black leather booties. She was allegedly confronted by store staff, only to say she bought the boots a week ago and was just returning them, before taking off. The suspect is described as:

- white
- heavy build
- 5’3”
- Blond multi-coloured hair pulled back into a pony tail
- Wearing a grey sweater and pajama pants
