Animal Remains Found In Provincial Park

The OPP is currently investigating the discovery of Animal Carcasses in Awenda Provincial park.  Police were contacted over the weekend when the remains of an animal was discovered close to the snowmobile trail in Tiny Township. They have also received information that three other carcasses had been discovered just inside the main gates to the park. The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act prohibits hunting in Provincial Parks. The investigation is continuing.
