Alleged Knife Thief Tests Out Product On Hand
Police Think Bandit Cut Himself During Theft
Barrie Police say a guy wanted for theft of knives has some telltale signs of the crime. Officers say when their suspect went into the change room of a Cabela’s to remove some hunting knives from their packaging, he cut his hand in the process. Investigators found an article of clothing soiled in blood in the change room, along with a shopping basket filled with empty packaging nearby. Police claim the theft happened August 8th around noon, and have security footage from the day of. The suspect is described as:

- white
- medium build
- approx. 5’9”
- 250lbs.
- Brown hair
- goatee
- Wearing a blue shirt, dark jeans, glasses, running shoes, carrying a dark satchel.
