Barrie is getting a share in nearly $1.4B in federal transit funding
Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Wynne met with Mayor Jeff Lehman at the Barrie Transit work yard to make the announcement today. The city will get just over $4 million for 13 new buses and 6 specialized buses for the fleet. Read more here.

Cyberbullies Likely To Be Close Friends
A study of 800 students, in grades 8 through 12 has revealed some interesting things about cyberbullying. Girls are twice as likely to be victims as boys, and 17% reported they had experienced cyberbullying the week before the study was done. Read more here.
